⟡ Big, funky hand thrown, artisan made mugs! Or simply a unique, elegant mug. Funny mugs are great too.
⟡ Art books - particularly illustration, abstract expressionism, post-modern, or urban photography.
⟡ Records! Would love to collect some more Radiohead, Portishead, Hans Zimmer… or even some jazz, calypso, or bossa nova! I could do with more disco in my life as well. Donna Summer, Cheryl Lynn… go nuts!
Looking for a treat to bring?
I will openly admit to having a sweet tooth, but I do try to be good when I can. Some indulgences I would love to partake in (besides your presence) are chocolate covered strawberries or a small assortment of chocolate truffles. Chocolate covered almonds or pistachios are wonderful too. I also adore having fresh cut fruit on hand for longer engagements.
I stick to a two drink maximum on dates, and I would consider partaking in sharing a bottle of bubbly or Sauvignon Blanc if that’s something you’d enjoy together.
Although I’m a big fan of a fine bourbon, I mainly reserve that for the cocktail lounges. Unless there is a special occasion or you managed to source an extremely hard to find bottle. Chat with me first!
I have a few non-alcoholic beverages I enjoy as well. As we dive into the winter, I’m particularly fond of a nice rooibos tea or hot chocolate. Here are a few other light refreshments I enjoy and can be found at Whole Foods.
I am of course a big connoisseur of coffee but I save the coffee drinking for before or after our dates. I would not turn down a bag of artisanal light roast or medium roast beans to take home however.
